CRGSA Autumn Fayre
Posted On: 29/09/14
Thanks go to CRGSA and all the parents who helped make Saturday’s Fayre such a success. There was a wide variety of stalls, attractions and food outlets in the school grounds and buildings and something for every taste. Year 8 designed their own stalls and students of all ages helped make the day a success. Andrea Turner masterminded and orchestrated the whole event and could count on the support of all the committee and parent helpers. The weather was kind and the raffle draw took place in sunshine on the front steps of the main school. This event is the major fundraiser in the Parents’ Association calendar and they will raise money for, among other things, some improved cricket nets at the school field. Last year CRGSA bought the grand piano for the George Young Building, and it was pleasing to see it included in this year’s programme. We would like to thank everyone involved in making the day a success and everyone who bought raffle tickets in the weeks leading up to the Fayre. Once the amount raised is known, we will announce it. CGRSA welcomes new members and holds its AGM at 7.15 on Tuesday 7th October.
