Classic French comedy to be performed at Colchester Royal Grammar School

Molière's L'Avare (The Miser) will be performed on 9th, 10th and 11th October in the George Young Building at CRGS. Sixth Form students, with the help of Mr Sydenham, are staging the play in French, but translations and explanations will be projected to enable everyone to follow, whatever your level of French.

The miserly widowed father Harpagon wants his two children, Cléante and Elise, to marry cheaply, while he himself has his sights set on young Mariane, who would much rather marry Cléante. Who can find a solution?
