Another Fantastic Year for Oxbridge Offers

It has been another fantastic year at CRGS for Oxbridge offers! A total of 39 students have been offered a place at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge – this is one more offer compared to last year and so close to our 41 offers from eight years ago.
There are 10 offers for Oxford and 29 for Cambridge, with undergraduate courses ranging from Biology, English, History and to Law, Experimental Psychology and Architecture. Subjects that figure heavily include Economics (6), Mathematics (6) and Medicine/Veterinary Science (5).
The Headmaster and Head of Sixth Form are both extremely pleased with the results. The Headmaster commented: “Once again our Year 13 students have worked wonders in their University applications and interviews and we have received some very positive feedback about the high quality. Year 13 have received hundreds of offers from Russell group and other top universities this year, and 39 Oxbridge offers, which is almost a school record. Well done to all our Year 13, and many thanks to Mr Harvey and the Sixth Form Team for doing an amazing job in supporting our students.”
As always, the students are extremely grateful for the help provided by staff, parents, governors, OCs and alumni, from supporting them with their personal statements to preparing them for interviews. They should be very proud – well done everyone.
