'They Stand Beside Us': New Book from CRGS and Old Colcestrians

This book brings together the life and death stories of the 73 former students and staff of CRGS who were killed fighting for their country in the Second World War. The title, ‘They Stand Beside Us’ is taken from a poem written by a 15-year-old CRGS student, JK Sansom, published in The Colcestrian magazine during WW2. It also contains fascinating chapters on the school and the town during the war.
