CRGS Languages Celebration

Our Equality and Diversity Group present ‘Around CRGS in 37 Languages’ to wish you all a great holiday and a happy new year! This short film includes students from across the school who volunteered to show off their language skills; we were amazed at how many different languages are spoken at CRGS and we thank all the students who took part.

 

This year, the Equality & Diversity Group’s work is going to focus on ‘Identities’ and how we can best celebrate the fantastic diversity of our school community. We’ve already marked Black History Month in October, a Year 11 focus group have given us ideas for tutorial sessions and, in the new year, we’re linking students and staff together for a session on our training day, plus we’ll be looking ahead to LGBT+ History Month in February. We’re also looking forward to working with our friends at the newly-established East Anglia Anti-Racist Education Collective which aims to join schools, colleges and universities together in order to share best practice.
