Year 12 Students Launch New Product 'Memory Lane'

We are Memory Lane, a group of students who have noticed the ever-widening gap between our generation and our grandparents’, made only worse over lockdown. To combat this issue, we have created a product aimed to start conversations between the young and the old.
The perfect gift for anyone to give their parents or grandparents, our product is an easy way to capture a lifetime worth of memories in one book to share as a family and cherish for years to come.
Here’s how it works: once a week, we email the people “more experienced in life” a set of 30 questions designed to gather their favourite stories and memories, with the option to add photos. Their reply is then shared with you and your loved ones on a weekly basis, to encourage weekly social contact. Over the course of 13 weeks, all their stories are woven into a beautiful hardback book to share with generations to come.
We believe that the span of a lifetime generates so many stories that deserve to be told, and every person should have the opportunity to document their own experiences, the highs, the lows, and all the stories in one autobiography.
