Message from the Headmaster

 

This morning, we all sit together, having had the very sad news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

 

Our Queen is the longest reigning monarch this country has seen and is ever likely to see. She has always been part of our lives.

 

At this moment, we are all living through a significant time in history. None of us have ever lived through the passing of a British monarch, but now we are here, as the reign of Queen Elizabeth II comes to an end; the end of the second Elizabethan era, and the beginning of the reign of our new king, King Charles III.

 

Our thoughts go out to her family.

 

Long live the King.
