Margaret Preece is an acclaimed international vocalist and actress who trained at the National Opera Studio and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She has established herself as a versatile and highly respected artist who has performed diverse leading roles for major opera companies and in a variety of stage musical and film roles, including Phantom of the Opera and The Sound of Music. Margaret has also released an album called Isn’t It Romantic? featuring songs by Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein with original arrangements by Kevin Amos.

 

We are delighted that Maggie has found time in her busy schedule to join us at the Grammar School, where she will perform popular songs from the shows and entertain us with anecdotes from her experiences on and off stage. Please come along to enjoy an unique evening of music and stories from the stage and screen given by this internationally acclaimed star.
