Salary: Scale 2, point 2 - £10.60 per hour /£5,197.19 per annum
Our friendly and supportive catering team are looking to appoint a Permanent Part-time Catering Assistant due to increased demand and expansion of the Catering department.
As a Catering Assistant you will be working as part of a busy team, focusing on: the preparation and simple cooking for food within the kitchen, serving customers, cleaning kitchen and dining areas.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a kitchen environment, although this is not essential as training can be given. A background in hospitality or retail will be considered. The ability to maintain a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and school regulations is essential.
Working pattern – 11.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.30am to 11.45am - term time only (less 1 week in the summer term), including inset days, additional hours for ad hoc events.
