Virtual Sixth Form Open Evening

Welcome to Colchester Royal Grammar School’s Virtual Sixth Form Open Evening! This was filmed when prospective students and their parents/ carers were unable to visit the school in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.  Though our Sixth Form Open Evening happened recently, many may not have been able to attend, so we hope that you find this 'virtual open evening' informative and that it gives you a sense of the culture and ethos of CRGS.

You’ll find welcome videos from our Headmaster, Mr Russell, the Head of Sixth Form, Mr Harvey, and Senior Prefect Team.

Each deparment has produced two videos : one from the Head of Department and one from Sixth Form students.  The full list of departmental videos can be found here.

You may be able to take a virtual tour (drag and drop the street view person into a photo sphere!) inside some of our well-equipped classrooms and communal spaces via the 360 degree photos we’ve added to Google Maps.
