Summer School applications deadline - 10th June

Year 5 and 6 primary school students are invited to apply for a place on this year’s gifted and talented summer school.  Students will be asked to take on the role of detectives, investigating the kidnap of our headmaster. They will need to collect and analyse forensic evidence from the crime scene, interview witnesses, interpret coded messages and ransom notes, practise their artistic talents in the development of portrait skills as well as develop journalistic flair in the writing of newspaper reports. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the judicial process as they participate in a mock trial, to be presented to parents on the final day.  Further details about this fun week of activities can be found on the invitation letter.
